We made the decision to get a pontoon this year (2009).

4/26/09  Chris, Nick and I left the house at 5:45 am yesterday.  We went to Grand Rapids and many other towns up north looking at pontoons.  We ended up back at our first stop in Grand Rapids and purchased the first pontoon that we looked at.  Some of the pics below are from the dealers website. The higher resolution pics are ones that I took. 5/03/09 Chris and I took the pontoon down to Buffalo Lake and did a couple of loops around the lake.  The boat is very solid and steady on the water.  Motor runs great!  Top end is 22mph.  15mph seems to be the optimal cruising speed.

The basics: 19 foot Ercoa, seats 12 adults, new floor, new carpet, new upholstery, 2000 Honda 40hp 4 stroke engine and a new bunk style trailer.
