Surgery and strong kids

Jim Hadfield | August 8, 2009

Our grandson Brady is a real trooper.  The little guy just turned a year old and has been through more surgeries than most of us would even want to think about.
Yesterday, 8/7/09, he went through another surgery, his second surgery in one week.  According to Melissa’s report: “We just met to consult with our neurosurgeon, [...]

A vacation that never happened

Jim Hadfield | July 5, 2009

Well, my vacation trip to Seattle with Barb to spend a week with Jeremy’s family didn’t start out too well.  For that matter, it never even happened.
We have a new policy at work.  No vacation can be taken now, and if you do, it should be taken without pay.  That, is not a big deal.  [...]

the first fishing adventure on board our pontoon

Jim Hadfield | May 18, 2009

Chris, Nick and I took our fist fishing trip on the pontoon yesterday.
I guess the only thing I can say is that “It was GREAT!”.  We had a lot of fun, caught a lot of fish (most too small), and just enjoyed being out on the water.  Sure wish that Jeremy could be with us.
We [...]

Maiden Voyage

Jim Hadfield | May 7, 2009

Chris and I took the pontoon out on the maiden voyage last weekend to Buffalo Lake.  WOW!!  sure runs nice.  And very quiet.
It tops out at 22mph.  The ideal cruising speed seems to be around 15mph.  That’s with only the two of us on board.
We need to work on some wiring fixes before we are [...]

Cortical Visual Impairment

Jim Hadfield | April 24, 2009

I’m certainly no expert on Cortical Visual Impairment, but my wife and I are going to learn.
Earlier this evening, we heard that one of our grandsons has this.  Not know anything about it, we had to start learning.
